If you are between the ages of 18 and 65

Meet criteria for Bipolar Disorder

And are currently depressed

You may be eligible to participate in a brain imaging research study involving two PET scans and an MRI scan. In exchange for study participation you will receive up to six months of outpatient treatment or eight weeks of inpatient treatment at NO COST to you. You will be treated with either lithium or Lamictal, based on your clinical needs. You will also be paid up to $450 for your time and effort if you are eligible and chose to participate.
